Taking my son out for our first outing this year….I was thinking Virginia Beach, or Port Bolster or Beaverton….can anybody advise how these have been lately and how far out ? We’ll be walking….

Definitely take a look at wind condition….you don’t want to make it miserable for your little guy. Took my 7 year old to quinte and the hut operator’s heat didn’t work and by the time he got back with a working one my guy was frozen and now he won’t go because he’s afraid of being cold….definitely make sure weather is good. As for perchin it’s been slow for me on simcoe so I tried couch and got 100 but only 8 keepers…

Tajs service in Port bolster is always nice under poor condition, never fished VB or Beaverton.
