Beautiful day. Managed to walk out along snowmobile tracks. Any where else the slush was ridiculous. Targeting walleye I managed a few perch the… it was bass after bass after bass. Landed 6 and lost 2 fish (possibly also bass) Each time I was hoodie a wallie🤪
Just for scale that’s a size 12 boot

I also slayed some massive smallies today in 45 fow. All released promptly, careful posting pics of OOS fish though, in the MNR eyes, the time it takes to snap a photo of the fish is too long to have it out of the water. They are fun incidental catches though! My son had fun. No whitefish today though haha.

I have caught a couple of nice bass on Ross. Not sure why the season is closed in winter.
