Shalow water, how deep for perch

Just a question what you guy think the perch start to be in shalow water at this time of the year

They can be found shallow year round, just have to find the spots and time frames, but I find mid-late March is the best time to target them shallow. Particular spots or certain times of the day don't seem to matter as much and the schools seem to be larger.
