Just back from an overnight stay on Lake Nipissing with Yves Perreault’s Prime Time Ice Fishing. Fishing action was steady throughout the day fishing from inside the fish bungalow due to the nasty weather. We manage to land several keeper walleye and some nice perch. The accommodations were clean and the cooking area was well stocked. Yves checked on us several times during our stay and was a great host. The fish were most active during the morning and late afternoon. Jigging with small Buckshot spoons tipped wth minnows seemed to be the most successful strategy for both walleye and perch. Can’t wait for the next trip.
