Find a stocked lake and give it a go. There are fish everywhere. Be mindful of laker regs if you target lakers. Walleye closes on the 15th. But your bait locally and keep the receipt if you’re not a resident. Good luck! (I’m sure you know that nobody can post small lakes here, to help protect them)

I’ve had luck on some of the natural lake trout lakes, and stocked Splake lakes.
