Weather was perfect today so launched out of port credit and shot right out to 300' of water and droped lines in down 45 feet.Wife put her fav lure a green NK monkey puke and picked up a nice 11 lb teenager.I had a lyman on in the ealy hr but it didnt move so i switched to a minkey puke and wham. caught a twin to my wifes fish.Tolled around the 330' mark and had a couple knock offs and lost a decent fish then around 10;30 landed a nice bow to cap off a nice day on the lake.

Great fish. You can't get much calmer than that. Take advantage of those days when them come.

Now that is what I am talking about!

Always nice clean fish out in the "zone"

and wow did you ever hit a gorgeous weather day.

Enjoy the BBQ!

Next time you get out there if it's sunny, try some copper back colors...bows just love them!

BTW, I think we covered this one before but my best fishing buddy and former 1st mate handle/name is also BigJim......he's 6' 5" and 310
