very nicely done. The WF limit up there is 12 right? What did you catch the WF on? The laker looks like it may have taken a vibrado? Do you find the WF taste differently from the Simcoe ones? Better?

Yes, 12 whitefish with a sports fishing license.
All fish including laker landed on vibrato.
..and do you find them better tasting than the Simcoe WF or about the same? Just curious if there is a difference like the lakers.

These whitefish are smaller (close to/around 3lb each) than Simcoe ones, and taste a lot better than those from Simcoe. To me they are best eating size:-)

Thanks for the confirmation. It's been a long time since I've had WF from an Algonquin lake (and they are also usually smaller than Simcoe's) but kind of remember them being better tasting than Simcoe's so suspected it was likely also the case with the Muskoka lakes. Makes me think I should spend less time fishing Simcoe next winter (when hopefully, I can ice fish again) given all the difficulties with the lack of parking, etc., etc.
