CATCHING so many SPRING PIKE on Tip Ups!, Fish after fish!

Fun day out guys! Really enjoyed getting on the pike this actively this week. Having a ton of fun and really enjoying tip up fishing! Thank you guys all so much for the support on the recent content, it is much appreciated and much more to come!

You’ve had a fantastic ice season.

You're catching pike like they were perch on Simcoe. Great to see. If you want to reduce the number of small pike, I would suggest trying a little deeper (or shallower later in couple of weeks) from where you were getting all of those little guys. And of course, using much larger bait (keep those smaller cisco you were catching and freeze them for future pike fishing - saves you some money on buying minnows and you are likely to get bigger fish). Great pike lake you found at least for numbers - time to see if there are giants in that lake.

Absolutely! Such a great year thus far. Really have been enjoying the fishing. And I absolutely agree about the ciscos. I had some frozen but threw them away and should not have!

Also Cm! I think they are eating perch. That was what was in the belies of the ones I kept. Just small ones. Seems like this lake has a very stunted population of pike and perch. Makes it such a great lake for numbers. I do absolutely wonder though if bigs lurk.

Nice pike fest! I missed my opportunity was too busy at work. You should be able to find some nice non stop Whitefish action out your way, they’re starting to feed pretty good on my lakes.
