Hi Everyone,

It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of our longtime moderator, contributor and a good friend of mine, Gord Kuster (aka ThorahGuy). He was a founding member of Lake Simcoe Outdoors and loved the forum. He will be greatly missed both on and off the forum, as I had the pleasure to fish with Gord on many occasions. He had so many great fishing stories and adventures of days past, & I will greatly miss his banter. He loved his summers on Thorah Island at the cottage, and the scenic beauty of our beloved, Lake Simcoe. He had so much knowledge of the lake and fishing, always sharing and always smiling.. Rest in peace my friend and God Bless.

Oh no that is so sad to hear....He knew an old codger I new in my childhood that fished out of Windsor boats.....we had a good chat about the 50's and 60's on Simcoe. My condolences to his family and many friends....His knowledge of the lake will be missed.
