Thank you everyone for your kind words regarding my grandfather. He will be missed. Our last two fishing trips where with taj, and longshank respectively and what fantastic trips they were. I really believe that staying active in this community prolonged his life. He was very independent in his old age living on the island by himself as recently as last summer. He Loved all things lake Simcoe and thorah island. He will always be with us so long as the fish keep biting.

My condolences to you and your family.

While I never met Gord he was always extreemly helpful to all on this form. He shared a great deal of knowledge of fishing and Lake Simcoe over the years. He must have fixed thousands of sideways and upside down pictures. I also really enjoyed the history lesson of the old pictures and dialog about them in the thread at the top of the Lake Simcoe page.

RIP Gord
Neil
