Link the video. Would love to see it. A ton of fish are up in the head waters of many streams already.

Yes, it was a great turnout.
In total, we lifted 211 trout up and over the dam. That is 1 more than we were allowed to put over. As much as we would like to lift more over, this plays havoc on the Brook trout population on this stream.
Thanks to the many volunteers who spent the morning helping out. It's nice to see at least of the few people who fish Cobourg Brook come out to lend a helping hand.

Sad that the MNR still holds on the the “story” that Steelhead cause havoc for Brook trout populations. It’s just not true at all. There are so many creeks with no barrier and thriving Brook trout populations. Every creek north shore Superior has co-existing populations of Steelhead and Brookies (both coaster and resident) with no barriers.

Nothing to do with the MNR - its all to do with the privaledged few fly guys having there own way and the favors that are granted and given. Exactly the same on the credit river . Salmon and bows are not allowed past the Norval dam to protect the elite

Is their any public fishing opportunities from Cobourg Dam to Baltimore, or is it mostly/all private?

Yes same on the Credit. Some fish are allowed past Norval but a limited few not what should be let by.
