Well got the boat out for the first time today with another guy. Started off really hot but died down real fast for us. We got 6 pickerel in total, but one was a really big girl full of spawn so she went back. Others were doing better and others worse. Wind picked up and was it chilly. But it felt good to be on the water,

mcc, silver bass will be later on, near the end of the run of walleye. the run on silver bass has dropped way off i have been told. to many people filling coolers with them full of spawn, but that only what I have been told. I haven't fished the end of the walleye season in several years but when I did you couldn't get a jig down to the walleye before a silver would have it and the guys on shore would be pulling in all kinds.
