As some of you know, my wife plays old time fiddle and I'm an old time square dance caller.
It is National and World Fiddle Day on May 21st and my wife and I decided to organize an event to celebrate the date.
It is an OLD TIME FIDDLE/MUSIC JAM, OLD TIME DANCE AND SQUARE DANCE.
We further decided that we would make it a fund raiser for COPE Dogs. We figured put a good music day to use to raise funds for a good cause.
Admission to the event is "FREE", but we are asking people to make a donation to support COPE.
The attached flyer gives all the details and if you are looking for something to do next Saturday, come and join us.
If you are not familiar with COPE, here is a link to their web-site.
https://copedogs.org/If you feel you would like to support the event even if you are unable to come, if you go to the COPE web-site, there is a "donate" button you can click on. If you do decide to donate, where it says "Tribute", put in "Fiddle Day" as this will help determine the total of all money we raise.
Donations of $20.00 or more qualify for a tax receipt.
As I said in the heading, nothing to do with hunting or fishing, but if you are a dog lover like my wife and I, you will understand why I wanted people on the Forum to know about this.
