so, we got up there last Monday and it was nice at plus 17 or so....crispy evening/night at -1 for next 2 days

spent first 2 days just getting everything up and running and no issues, so that was great

One thing we noticed was the lack of wildlife until Wednesday, then everything came alive from hummingbirds to jays to chipmunks and the peepers were noisy lol

I found fishing slow for whitefish, just could not find them, same for suckers

then it got hot for 3 days.wow, but thankfully it cooled down nicely for sleeping at night...the blackflies were getting nasty by friday, but not on the water nor the heat of the day

seen mosquitoes coming out as well. lake temps went from 52-65 in 5 days

we had a great time as always and will get back as soon as possible

just to get away was priceless

Crazy weather. Can't believe how hot it got. Much prefer the cold...how much ice is there? Is the ice safe?
