Most owls will call back if you don't do it too loud. The owl will know it is fake if it's too loud, because their hearing is so good.

Thanks for that super video,brought me back to a time when i camped on the Yukon river solo for a week or so before stopping to visit a good friend of mine in Dawson for 3 months every year for 25 years.
