Was hoping to get out on the big O Saturday for salmon. Looks like the weather might be feeling differently about that with the upcoming winds. Any one have any thoughts about going after pickerel at boq? I’ve never gone there before so don’t know what it would be like. Would you get the same amount of chop or is it a little more sheltered there?

Walleye fishing is pretty good on Quinte. But the winds can be brutal, the last time I was out last week I had over 2 foot whitecaps. So take care. I am looking at getting out this weekend as well if the winds stay down
