I was driving down Hwy 11 from Orillia yesterday and a mother Mallard and a group of very small ducklings decided they wanted to cross from the West to the East side.
Myself and others braked and swerved around them and they made it to the centre concrete barrier.
Not sure how it turned out after I had passed.
No way was I going to stop and try to save them. A woman in Quebec lost her life a couple of years ago when she tried to do that.
