Might be heading out Saturday. Any tips on what part of the lake to hit for some pickerel?

Went only once this year to Rice for the opener and got skunked (my buddy got one) . But that was during the heat wave in mid May when the water reached 23C quickly and there was a bug hatch.

Try the weedlines around the central, deeper area after dinner time (6- 9 pm).

Worm harness (spinner rigs) and jigs with worms/leeches should catch you some fish.

Good luck!
