We are booked for Jan.24th to 27th for our annual trip to Idle Tyme, Callander Bay. Ten guys in two six man on ice bungalows, guys are starting to get pumped up for this trip already, for some of us it has been 20+ years we have been getting together for this trip.

No worries the ice will be plenty thick last year we went same time, and it was at least 13" thick and last year as you know was warm I think will be good to go. The only problem we have had is the weather every time we go the temps drop and fish turn right off. Last year I was pumped consistent -5 all week Friday came and down to -25 but we still managed to get a few.

gary m
Gary, fancy bumping into you on this web site. Yes we are the Metroland group and we are still doing our annual trip to Calander Bay. Still fishing out of Idle Tyme, the new owners Shawn and Terra are great people, people are calling Shawn Ross Jr. Last year we tried the on ice bungalows they offer, I think this is the way we will go from now on.
