We’re making our first trip to Lady Evelyn on July 2. Trying to do as much preparation as possible. If anyone has been there and has any advice on fishing patterns for walleye and bass I’d very much appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.

I camped near Island 10 last week. Looks like there may have been a pot of gold right off the camp doorstep. We couldn't put much of a trolling pattern together so we mostly jigged off of any of the shoals we came across and did pretty well. I'd bring a large assortment of jigs from 1/8 to 1/4oz. And be ready to retie often. Did well on minnows but any plastics tipped with a piece of worm did the trick too.

Edit to add: the file is a little too compressed to see - but that's Island 10 where the rainbow ends.

The better fishing is found from Garden Island Lodge to the south where the main lake basin is located. This might a little far from Island 10 with their camp boats but doable on a calm day. Try fishing the steep rocky drop offs 20-50ft. Choose your jig sizes based on the currents wind conditions usually 1/4 and 3/8 works best. Minnow work well and so do leeches. Fish Franks Falls for pike, bass and walleye and the night bite is always the best time to target the walleye on LE. Have Fun.
