First time since 2019 that I've pitched for Bass.... with covid the timing had to right and if it wasn't....then on to the next year.....well 3 years later and here we are..... With my life situation I used to be able to fish so much that I didn't know I was taking things for granted.. first 10 minutes of getting to a lake if I didn't get at least a nibble from a panfish I might have got a little annoyed or impatient.. this week I pretty much got skunked because I don't count any of the half pounders.. it was so amazing, I truly loved it and missed it, I could have stared and studied the water for hours without landing a fish and it was all right. I didn't have to tell myself to enjoy it I just did.. I wish I could have that perspective all the time . One thing's for sure I'll remember it and always try to keep things in perspective and appreciate every moment on a boat

It's all about being out there (a few fish also helps in the enjoyment but really being out there is the most important). Haven't really fished in quite a while myself due to family stuff so have missed just being on the lake, beside the lake, fishing, etc. Catch or not, a nice day on the water is just so soul-healing. So enjoy with or without fish.
