Well guys, the fishing over the past weeks has honestly been nothing short of incredible. Pike, bass, trout. Just unreal. I truly look forward to sharing all these experiences with you all. Today I am fishing my local lake for stunning trout. I hope you all enjoy! Thank you all so much for the support.

Nice video. Did you get some bear spray and an air horn. I only have an air horn, that is what I have always carried in bear areas. Air horn will get rid of all unwanted visitors 99 times out of 100. Stay safe and good luck.

Thank you guys so much for the comments. I absolutely agree that there has got to be some bigger ones in there. Next time I go I am going to try a larger spinner and see if that may do the trick on bigger fish. I would love to take a nice one home for dinner as I have never tried brookies before. Also that is a great point crappeman on the horn and spray. That will be my next investment. Again thank you guys so much for the support! More to come.

My guess is you would need a different spot for bigger brookies. Sure, a bigger spinner could potentially help, but I’d bet location matters more than presentation in this case. My 4 cents…(inflation)

I would tend to agree that location may be the main thing but no harm in chucking a larger lure and see what happens. Also, I find the smallish brookies to be better fare than the really large ones (had a couple larger ones that were not sooo tasty - but nothing Cajun blackened style of cooking can't fix Inflation... I would say my ten cents now...at least that is how it feels to me anyway. Like salaries, the two cents has stayed more or less the same forever (we don't even have pennies anymore).

Thank you guys all for the advice. I will absolutely take everything said into account. Going again to the same lake this evening. Fingers crossed I can pull out a nice fish.
