Going to Meaford-Friday July 15, SDC and my Friend Phil-1st trip of 2022

For those of you who have been around for a few years, may have noticed no fishing reports from me so far this year.

A number of things conspired against me. Some minor health issues, I turned 80 in April (those 2 things slowed me down)and while Collingwood was my favorite place to go, no way was I going to pay their exhorbitant non-resident parking fees.

The boat has been sitting in the garage since the end of April, all set to go.

Now that the salmon are in Nottawasaga Bay, it's time to get the boat wet and hopefully put some fish in it.

My friend Phil and I are heading to Meaford on Friday to try our luck. I haven't fished out of there in years, but have had good luck many years ago. If you see the 16ft Legend, top up and the big green landing net stuck up, wave and say hello.

If anyone has been fishing out of Meaford this year and you feel so inclined, you can let me know how you have been doing, either in this thread, or send me a PM
