Sharing a video of an insane carp fishing trip from few days ago. The bite was non-stop and I was totally exhausted from landing fish after fish. I hope you enjoy this video.

looks like a lot of fun. Think you need a bigger net maybe a bell on the rods. Do you do anything with them other they release. I have had smoked carp and it was pretty good, but haven't had it in years. they do put up a really good fight.

LOL, true, I definitely need to take a bigger net next time. I usually aim for smaller carp from this place but the big ones kept hitting that day. I fry the smaller carp. They taste pretty good. I kept some of the bigger ones and gave them to my friends and relatives who eat them in a variety of ways including frying, bbq and curry.

I was wondering when you would post a new fishing adventure. Those were some big fish and quite a few as well. Some of my friends eat them around the 3 pound size. That was a good day of fishing you had with perfect weather.

Thanks crappeeeman! I went out a few times but never got a chance to edit the videos. Kids are keeping me busy in summer lol. I hope to share those videos soon. I like eating small carp as well, just around that 3lb size.

Very cool to see such large fish. I haven't fished for carp since my very young days. Forgot how much fun they can be and if in a clean body of water (and esp. the smaller ones as mentioned before and when the water is colder, they are pretty decent to eat). I use to live in London so know where you were fishing (don't want to give it away) - went there several times to hike around and look for wildlife. Always seen people fish there but never gave it a try myself and have been kicking myself for that because I have moved from there and it's too far a drive to try that river now. Keep up the interesting reports.

Thanks Flukes. I haven't fished for carp in cold water, looking forward to trying that out someday. Hope you get to fish this spot if you pass by the area as it's so much fun

very cool to watch
I love carping and go every year as it's so close to home, but just haven't posted any outings.
those are big ones and imo carp fight really well..go on several long runs when able to
I don't eat them simply because i can obtain such a variety of fish pretty much anytime, but I also have given some smaller ones away and those folks seem quite happy with them

Thanks reelinginthebigone, I look forward to implementing your suggestions in the future videos. I definitely have to take a bigger net next time. Wasn't expecting the big ones to bite so much that day, I was totally aiming for the smaller ones. Agreed, I have to get much better at handling fish.
