Love catching those acrobats. Finally got out fishing on G Bay on a canoe trip. 2 hrs fishing between T storms . Lost a bunch more, incl 1 good size wally, from having barbless hooks and no net. Except that one on the right, all the bass were quite big----no little runties like we catch in Muskoka/Haliburton.

Thx Curt for being so gracious. I realized after I posted that I had hi-jacked your post----like being cut off in a conversation.

We got to fish a couple of hrs between thunderstorms last Tue. I have been trying to get out for a day with my buds, but for retired old fellas we seem to have a lot of scheduling probs!!

That's in the French River delta. I have fished there very briefly 3 times, different areas. Most coves seem to be loaded with bass. Often see them chasing a lure in those clear waters. All 3 times they were quite a good size. My bud Michael Kerwin was absolutely slaying them a couple of years ago.

no problem Knuguy its nice to see other people catching bass its all new to me as i have been taking time off the specks and giving myself another challenge to target other species and i'm not sure when i will return to the specks.
