We’ll have had a bit of battery/ fish finder trouble on my new boat but everything is good now . I’m heading out to foots bay/ lake joe this Saturday with my little guy and was hoping to get some tips on what to use and depth to fish? Was thinking tubes and vibratos?

I was marking non stop fish 35-45ft over 60-100fow pretty well everywhere on Tuesday. Wasn’t lake Joseph but was a similar large lake trout/whitefish/herring lake. I jigged with vibratos and small spoons, they would hit the vibratos but kept popping off… I managed one laker released and lost 20 other fish, it was frustrating. I think I need new hooks on my lucky vibrato haha. I was out there form 2-4:30pm.

How did you manage to lose that many fish, mykola:-)? I hope your vibrato are not with the "garbage" stock treble hooks...

Yes I’m going to replace them all after that debacle haha. Any recommendations for replacement vibrato hooks? I have replaced some with singles and they seem to work…..sometimes. It felt like 20 but more like 8 haha.

with all my vibrato lures, I replace the two stock treble hooks with GAMAGATSU or OWNER stinger treble hooks, and they are sharp and are less likely getting rusty...
