August 6....great time wit Offroader

Thanks to the board members, i was able to get Offroader and his girlfriend out this morning for a short 4 hour outing

the weather was perfect

So were the clients ....a ton of laughs and some great fishing to boot.....we went 15 for 17 and a few solid knockoffs.......water was cold and best action was around the 30 foot mark

It was Connies birthday , so some pressure was put on to get her a decent salmon....we succeeded in that

lots of 2 year olds , a couple of shakers and just quality eaters were boated by this absolutely terrific couple that had never salmon fished Hats off to doing so well on the rods

It was a short but very memorable outing

and best of all, there were no fleas in the ice water fished

assume day for sure. this year you are not getting many days with the water like that, at least not in my area.

Longshank made some great memories happen today.

We have to say today was WAY better than expected. It started with a great no pressure booking, clear instructions and excitement from the second I booked.

It was such a comfortable enjoyable day. Shank, couldn't have asked for anything better, I was hoping she would get a large one and she did, you guided her how not to lose it and netted it like a pro!! Yes she caught it, and yes I am still hearing about it.

Shank was great in answering questions and offering info, truly a great example of the type of sportsman we need to be on the water.

I would absolutely recommend Longshank for a guide, I will be in touch again!

That looked like a great time! Nice big tank wandering the deeper waters? Sweeet! That wasn't a 2nd year.. that was at least a large 3rd or 4th. I'd expect a fish like that in 100 FOW or less around that time.

was a 4 year old mature for sure and we fish differently to some extent on the south shore than you do on the north shore...gta for example


also, i rarely fish deep unless I have to. I would rather find colder water and fish there, it also usually gets me away from any crowds

that mature was caught down 37 feet
