First off I want to thank everyone for your extremely kind words and support on my recent posts. It is so appreciated. I have been having a hard time mentally of recent and these videos truly are helping so much. In todays upload, I decide to make a spontaneous trip all the way to, Lockport Manitoba, or basically Winnipeg and I check out the famous Lockport Dam! I have an absolutely incredible time and wow, I will be back again. I have some more videos filmed here too! I can’t wait to share it all with you guys.

...because the fishing in your area was just not good enough??

Never caught a sauger before. Very cool to see so many.
Did you have to get a fishing license to fish in Manitoba?

A long solo road trip (as well as fishing) can do wonders for the soul. Hope you are feeling better after the trip. Good storage spot for the brush and paste - won't forget to brush if on the road.

Always look forward to your videos! They do keep getting better but the excitement has never left even if you were catching a tiny pike with no hut down south you would light the camera up with excitement! Its always tough moving away from home especially if your going through a hard time, I did it for years but don't be afraid to lean on old and new friends and family! Some people will surprise you when you open up and difference that can make. Keep the videos coming as you truly capture the joy of fishing!!

That looks like a popular spot to fish with those people on the shore and in the boats.

Wow, the kind words stated in this post really made my day. Genuinely the support I have been receiving is so appreciated. Truly I am so lucky to have all these fishing opportunities at my finger tips. But this trip really was great for my mental state. Getting out and exploring something new, great fun. Again and as I always say. The support is so much so appreciated. Keeps me so motivated each day. More to come!

Hey!

I used to live near Lockport - my family lived just outside of Oakbank Manitoba for 7 years.

Had some epic days fishing that dam with my brother.

Depending on the level of the water you can walk out onto some rocks, most people won't go out there - we used to and you can get out to basically where everyone else can cast to.

Then just cast out past them lol some days it was a fish every other cast - amazing.

Goldeyes in there too. Big ones.
