another day on the bay, hit the trifecta today

Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 443 Member No.: 7317 Joined: October 03, 2014	Dave and I were out today with near perfect conditions light winds sun and warm temps.The day started with a surprise lake trout 60 feet down in 100 feet. For a while it was slow but a nice salmon changed that peeling drag and ending up in the net. Got slow again for a while until we started marking fish ending up with two rainbows down 70 feet in 95 Fow go figure .LOst two more before ending up with one more rainbow . Not a bad day 5/7 .

Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 385 Member No.: 347 Joined: February 24, 2011	How s the meat color of those rainbows grampa? Me and my friend got a limit not far from OS area 2 weeks ago and 3 of them had a very pale meat close to white and only one was a usual bright red .

the two i cleaned were one of each nice pink colour and one kind of pale

i was wondering how your season was going time on the water sure helps been out numerous times this year boated more than ever.been a good year so far but i think its comming to an end soon.
