Good day,

I know this isn't a Quebec site but I have seen a few posts on here once in a while about Quebec trips so figured I'd ask.

I am going up to Montreal for my Birthday to play some poker tournaments. I found a nice air BNB on the water near the casino.

It's on a canal that connects directly to the St. Lawrence.

I have a 16 foot extra wide fiberglass lake canoe I was thinking of throwing in the van now that I know this. It is set up for a trolling motor as well.

We will be focused on poker mostly but the opportunity to fish a new spot is too good to pass up - one as good as this one as well, just can't do it.

So my question is - does anyone from this forum have ANY insight on the fishing up there?

Figure I will just use my go to's and try to find some bass but I've read there are muskies lurking around as well.....

ANY insight, as usual is always welcome!

PS - I don't speak French so I can't understand most of the forums and what not for that area lol

Tight lines!
