Might this guy be a hybrid as well? Fought with alot more zeal than a pike. Caught in Nip a couple weeks ago.

I would say yours was a fat northern pike with a healthy apetite and then strong will to oppose your attempts of capture.
Nice fish! Seems bigger than majority of pike I manage to catch in Nipissing.

crappeeman, you're so right about nature in general!
Went up north for a week to fish. The bite was slow, which was a bummer, but still enjoyed just being there.
The eagles, water snakes, beavers, other critters, the rock formations, woods, etc are so relaxing and at the same time invogorating.

The hybrid fishy was just that little thing that made the fishing part of being away special.
