Well done.. Nice haul..
Thanks for the report.
Artificials that worked for me are 1.5 inch tubes white or chartreuse on 1/16 oz jig.. use splitshots a foot up to get it close to bottom..
Good luck..
PS the recipe description is better than the fishing report.. lol.. yum!!!!
Thanks MB, i'll try your suggestion.
One more tip.. once the perch stop biting on the white and chartreuse, try a tube with some orange, ie orange and white.. it looks like fins on a mature perch and a jumbo might smash it ...

So those must be the perch you telling me about a while ago in your message. Great catch and good luck next time you are out.
Yup, these are some of those perch we talked about. How's you crappie adventures going?
Very well thank you. Have not fished as much as I would like to as usual. Mother nature has been generous this season with crappie walleye and bass. Luck has been there also so the family has been happy with fish BBQ dinners. Going back up in a few days just watching the weather. Good luck next time you get out and stay safe.

That's great, I haven't been fishing much this summer. I've made one trip north and caught some walleye, a pike, and a few crappies on one camping trip. As i mentioned to you before, all of my crappie catches are incidental and always when i am trolling for walleye. I never knew that crappies chase worm harnesses, but apparently they do, and they usually are on the bigger side.
