I have many friends from all over the world. I have made some new friends on this fishing forum. Some of my new friends have met my old friends and now they can become friends. To have friends is one of the most important parts of ones life. Friends can be like family. Life long friends are hard to find some times. My grandfather taught me to treat people like they were your friend. Be kind and fair to all people he said. Now is the time to be kind to one another. Call a friend or family. Tell someone you love them. Pray for peace and pray for the women and children and men that are suffering right now. Pray until the turbulent waters around the world become calm. Pray for peace.

I forgot to say that I have friends from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. We pray for all of their families and friends until there is peace. I am looking forward to all of us fishing together this year on Sturgeon or Balsam.

Thanks J....my thoughts never leave what the Ukraine peoples are going through and how unfair this war is. I am hearing that some captured Russian soldiers that were captured have told their captors that they were very ill informed and that they were told they were on training exercises and found themselves in a war that they wanted no part of....W5 has a story on the Ukraine right now.

Agreed with all. The people are rarely to blame. It's the very bad leaders causing problems for other people as well as their own....Humans never seem to learn from history - we think we are better now since we have all this documented history that people can go and read but regardless of it all, some will still think they can do whatever they want to whoever they want because they are in a position of power.

Thank you for all your kind words that come from your hearts. It is very difficult to find the words to chronicle what is going on right now. So what I will say is all people are not bad, and all people are not good. There is and will be many young innocent victims on both sides of this war. We pray for the victims of war. We pray for innocent women and children and men. We pray for peace and we don't stop praying for peace, until there is peace.

Crappeeeman, What wonderful thoughts. We are all aghast at what is happening in Ukraine in this day and age. It is truly hard to believe. Prayer is all we have.
It's heartbreaking to see the Ukraine population targeted and bombed by Russia. I feel sorry for the Russia people as they surely do not want this either. It show that one madman can control a whole country. Looks like 1939 Europe is repeating it self, with countries threatened by a madman. This time though, England is in no condition to challenge based on principle alone.
