Yeah this is a different lake.
Fanshawe is in London - and yes it does happen yearly.
I used to camp there every year and unless you go before it gets too hot its algae bloom - can still fish etc but it's kinda gross.
I've since found better places to camp and fish for my money - and for free lol
It's all the agricultural runoff in the area and it gets held by the dam there. Not sure there's anything that can be done and it's not a natural green colour its more aquamarine - weird lol
