Hello,
I am moving in to Georgina and I am curious how strict the enforcement is on ATV's on the roads? Assuming ATV is licensed, insured, helmets, and of age. Also a general sense of the communities felling about this?
For example, if I lived 1 or 2km's away from the lake, is it an issue if I drive my ATV to the lake and back? Does this change depending on the area/road?

Well making the effort to call Georgina solved the question, a big NO. That's what keeps me from going there, they are still in the dark ages in that area. Some people do it, if they get caught, not my problem. I can only suggest that you get a LOT of guys together from your area and approach council and plead your case to have some of the roads opened to allow users going to the lake access. I live over on the other side and most of the Townships have seen the light and given us a lot of roads to get to and from trails. In Innisfil I see them going to the lake quite regularly. In this case, maybe your persistence may pay off. Good luck.

I'm on Lake Drive North and see them all the time. I even see them on Metro. I doubt the cops stop them as they would be easy pickings. I don't have a problem with them until they go by my house at full clip. It's like these idiots think they better get to where they are going before the cops catch up to them.
