my bow mount has some issues I have to get fixed
just for your info..Erie perching is quite different than Simcoe perching......light action rods, but deep, like 60 feet. sometimes deeper and sometimes shallower and very difficult to do any releases from that depth

Great job you two on the perch and the bass. AND HOLY SMOKE that fish looks good. That crank bait you like is my favourite lure for walleye on Sturgeon and Balsam. From spring opener until November 15th. ONLY comes out from dusk until dawn. Top one in this picture is the only other one I have in that colour. The bottom one looked like the top one many years ago. I won't use the new one unless the lucky one gets lost. Hope you guys enjoyed your dinner. Good luck out there and stay safe.
