Lake Simcoe Living Magazine, On Line and Hard Copy

This magazine comes out quarterly and if you sign up at the web-site you will get it on line automatically. It is also available at various locations in hard copy.

There are always good articles therein about the Lake and the surrounding area.

Noted outdoors writer/fisherman Wil Wegman always has an article in each issue. He has some good stuff in the latest issue and Bob Bowles has a good article on local mushrooms.

It is always an interesting read when it comes out.

Nice find. The silicon pastry mat on page 6 makes rolling pie dough to the right size and doesn't stick either. I bought one about 4 years ago and it makes pastry rolling super easy.

Yup, I make, let's say a few chick/turkey pot pies, salmon pies, ground pork pies and apple pies now and then, it makes that part real easy.

that vegetable Lasana sounds really good, might just have to try this, but maybe add some meat.

Yes, meat has its place on every dish, right beside the potatoes and under the gravy.
