For all of my fellow military brothers and sisters, I wish you all the best on this Remembrance Day/Veterans Day, and I hope we all honor the memories of those who didn't make it back home.

And hopefully, we won't see another World War in the next lifetime, but we're all on the brink of that again.

I'm not sure what weapons we'll see in the next world war, but the one following that will be fought with stone weapons.

A fond memory of my daughter and her Grampa at the Milton cenotaph for the Remembrance Day service.

What a memory!

As always, the Last Post got my tears going again yesterday. And watching the coverage in Ottawa and in Washington, the fly-by got me again, especially when #3 pulled away from the echelon formation in the missing man formation!

Thx Lionel....Remembrance Day at my in laws house was always a very special day. My wife's family played Last Post and Reverie at the Milton cenotaph and other events around town and nearby communities since 1920. First was her Great Grandfather, followed by her Grandfather and then her Father. At different times family members would join them as my daughter did for a few years. The Legion in Milton is named after her Grandfather who served in both wars. My Father in Law passed away this past year and my daughter is now living in Ireland and the family tradition has been broken but the memories of Remembrance Day will always have an added thought of those so precious family get togethers to honour our fallen soldiers.

Arnie
