Hey All,

Does anyone know if someone offers rides out and back from shore? Don’t need any huts, just a few days of fishing and our snowmobile guy is away this year lol.

First week or 2nd Jan

Thanks to all

M

Have you checked with any of the Ice hut operators up there? They might shuttle you out for a fee. I know some that run day huts shuttle guys, throw them some dough for parking and a ride.

I'm interested too... Never had a sled, but have a summer cabin on the South shore that has been begging me to try it in the hard water season.

support your local icefishing operators and rent a day hut from them and they will be glad to give you a out and in

That's the thing most don't cater to one or two people. It becomes very expensive with less then four people renting. Not blaming anyone just the cost of everything, kinda excludes singles or couples.

On weekends you are probably right. Mid- week you might be surprised .

Yes the first couple of weeks in Jan usually is the busiest because everyone wants the hot walleye bite. Did you try greening bay cottages? they generally have mid week openings.

So what you are seeking is an Uber ice fishing ride? Insurance for that venture would not be cheap!

we used to have a taxi service down here, they'd have an old car or truck pull a large sleigh out. We don't get enough cold any more for that anymore. It was convenient

When we’re planning on going out? And from where? I maybe able to take you? How many people? How big is that toboggan?
I’m also completely jacked to get on the hard water and get my fish ON.
