Took the little man back to Mommy lake today. Water like glass all day, but the fishing was tough. Worked the drops around 45-60fow and marked fish consistently, but they were not in the biting mood. Fished from 10am-2pm, my son landed one 19” walleye and one herring. The only bites came when a light breeze kicked up for about 15 min before dying back down. No lakers again! Fun To be out in the lake on such a nice day. As I was leaving, another tinny with 3 guys were trolling the shore starting out the evening shift. Nobody else out there. Still not putting the boat away yet.

If they love fishing at a young age chances are they will pass that on to their own children someday. A family that enjoys nature is great to see. Oh ya nice walleye as well.
