You are right about the beaver, they do not hibernate and are active all year long. If there was two of them you might see baby beavers in the spring at that spot. Two spots I fish regularly the beavers swim around me most of the night. I am glad that beavers are vegetarians so we don't compete for the fish. LOL. Here is a picture of one of them eating a thin branch. Sorry about the quality I could not get closer, did not want to disturb his midnight snack. Enjoyed your video, the food looked great. Stay safe out there.

Thanks for the pic crappeeeman, it looks cool. The beaver definitely didn't like my presence there as it was splashing around. Wish I was able to take a photo or video like yours.

That beaver was on Balsam. This beaver was on Sturgeon. Don't be fooled by how cute they are if you ever see one up close. I have seen two males fighting before it was unbelievable. A beaver is more dangerous to a human than a wolverine because a beaver will defend their whole area. When I am fishing near them sometimes they give me a warning by growling or breathing very loud in and out their nose. Sorry again for bad quality photo.

This is about as close as I get to their home. I always leave wild animals alone. So many times bumping into them unexpectedly walking through the forest. I see them. They see me. I walk away.

Those are some great beaver pics! Thanks for sharing. I came across one last year while passing through a forest. It gave me the death stare and I just walked away lol.
