I’m trying to decide on what parking pass to buy Barrie or Oro. I’ve fished kemp and walk isn’t to bad, what’s the avg length walk for white fish near paid parking in Oro? Last thing what’s your opinion on fishing kemp or oro? Thanks Kevin G

If you are after not laker but whitefish I'd say you are better off Oro. Equally if for laker I'd go Kemp (k-bay) no question asked:-)

I had posted that you didn't need a pass in the Winter. But I double checked myself and found things had been changed and I was wrong.
The thing to watch out for is that there are certain areas where you are allowed to park to pursue Winter recreational activities. Park outside of those areas and you can be ticketed for interfering with Winter road maintenance.
