Wow, with those conditions, I shudder to think of the wind-chill value. At least you won't be breaking ice....I think. If 'good karma' is based solely on effort, you'll do really well. Good Luck.

Yes there was ice but not much. Had to get a big branch and break up the ice along the shore.

Got enough of the ice away to fish. It was a beautiful but a very cold and windy day just got back a bit ago. No fish...bobber went down about 12 times but I think it was just small pike playing with the giant minnows that were used today under a slip bobber. That's my fishing line in the bottom left corner laying across the ice. Going back tomorrow morning to try again for a couple hours weather permitting.

Nice jacket C-man!
I bought my nephew a Raptor jacket for his birthday that first season Toronto came into the NBA. He did not want it, so I took it back to 97 Sports and got a bigger size for myself. It still looks brand new because I only wear it skiing or on very cold and windy days. I can't ski anymore because of my shoulder so I wear a bit more now. I have had a few people try to buy it off me, but no way, it's worth too much to me now. It still has the store tag on the inside, and there is not one mark on it. Hopefully I can keep it looking new until the 50th anniversary of the Raptors first season. LOL. Thank you for your comment.

Great to hear that you were able to fish, CM, and too bad the fish was not cooperating. It must have been because of a post-frontal weather conditions The weather is iffy now , we will have the ice soon. Nice pictures and this Raptor's jacket is awesome, you should definitely keep it.

Thank you JB. It was just great to be out. That's the same spot I fished a couple of times last December and had many pictures that I posted. The fish were weird today. Maybe tomorrow or Wednesday will be like last December and some pictures of fish will be posted instead of dinosaurs and ice. LOL.

Gotta hang on to it! Great story behind it. Might have to start wearing some Raptors gear out fishing.

Yup. I do cheer for The Raptors...My other teams are... The Leafs... The Cowboys... The Yankees... Also always hope the Blue Jays do well except when they play the Yankees. Blue Jays were not around when I was a child. My grandfather and the entire family cheered for The Tigers. So naturally I rebelled and created a disturbance in the family by cheering for The Yankees.
