Has anyone ever tried using slab grabbers for perch on Nip?

We always get a couple of jumbos when we are up, but I have never specifically targeted them.
The slab grabber things absolutely slay perch on lake Simcoe. So I am considering trying them out when the walleye bite is slow.
Thanks fellas,

They should work, the only issue is they might need some time to get on the bottom especially when you fish deeper than 20ft. I tend to use bigger, heavier spoons even for perch on Nip, and most of the time they attract the jumbos...

Thanks Gino,

I hadn't thought of the fact that they will take some time to get to the bottom.

We will see what happens.
