Does the causeway still sell minnows?

I dropped by the causeway bait shop today and pretty sure they are not in business anymore. The sign is still there but that's it.

I was on the ice and there was 8-10" of good ice

Sounds good about the ice, not so much for the bait…. I called and spoke to someone a couple of weeks ago and asked if anyone was fishing yet, I didn’t ask about bait though. Hopefully they were just closed or something….Is there any other shops nearby if this is the case?

I don't know any up that way which is definitely inconvenient.

Gagnon sports in Oshawa has pin heads and is where I will be going

I just spoke to someone at causeway bait. It just changed ownership and they’re trying to get the shop up and running again. So as of right now I don’t think there’s a store but they have minnows! Pretty sure he said $8 for shiners and $5 for a scoop of pinheads. He said to give a call before coming incase he runs into town or something. I let him know I’d post this to send some business his way!
