A couple of friends and I have an ice bungalow booked on lake Temagami with Temagami Outdoors Feb. 10-12. We will be targeting Walleye, whitefish and ling. Does anyone have any suggestions of baits and colours? I have fished scugog for years for walleye and simcoe for whitefish and lake trout. Is it also 2 lines per angler on Temagami? Any help is much appreciated.

You are with the right outfitter they are awesome. Active jigging for walleye about an hour before dark on the edge of “the shoal” will not disappoint. I personally love lipless crank baits worked hard. White fish in February are slow so good luck there. Ling just a minnow on a small buck shot near the bottom after dark. Lots of little ones around so best to pinch down your barbs for easier release. I have one or two designated ling lures with pinched barbs. Good luck we will be there the week after so leave some!

Yes 2 lines are fine per angler. One hint is jigging a glow in the dark little cleo. After sunset it will draw in the ling and eyes. Will catch some as will nearby minnows.

We've sent down a simple old jig and minnow for the ling over night and it actually got a bit annoying how many we were catching. (if you wanted to sleep)
Rod sat in a rod holder with a bell fixed to the end of it.
Unbelievable.
No biggies in our time yet, but that will happen eventually.
