Due to the mild weather we will be forced to cancel our bookings until at least the 8th of January. We will be in contact with our clients in the coming days to confirm of the cancellation or you can contact Cara-Lee @ 705-845-1067. We are still hoping for the 8th as our opener if the weather cooperates. Will know more on January 6th.I would tell you how we feel about this but pretty sure it would be deleted from the forum. So we will just wish everyone a Happy New Year instead. Cara-Lee & Garnet.

I'm sure the lost revenue is bad too! With a little more than 10 weeks to operate loosing 8 or 9 days is more than 10% of the potential seasons revenue. I hope 2023 is a good year for all the outfitters up here! Neil

Watched the weather forecast for North Bay last night. Next Tuesday (3rd Jan) it is anticipated to be a high of plus 8C. Right now in the Bay it is plus 7C. Not good but that could change.

Happy new year.
I took a drive to Callander to check things out. I don't know Ice well but apparently 100's of people think it's good to go.
Pic 1) Two tents set up way out on the main lake (Taken from DT north Bay)

Going a little stir crazy waiting to try the new toys so I took another walk with the puppy this morning.
A little colder today and I did see a few tents set up pretty far out but not many.
I talked to one group testing the ice who said they were seeing 6" but me I'm still giving it some time.
