Hi All,

Any chance anyone has been out on Mitchell Lake this season?

A buddy wants to get out there on Saturday but not sure of ice conditions.

Was by 2 days ago, canal channel is open right through to the split island as well as the culvert for 200 yards both ways. May be able to get to north end from parking area. Watch out for a windy storm this week, as the Talbot river is BOOMING in so things may degrade over the weekend, the whole TRENT is dealing with a spring like inflow right now. My sump in the basement is highest that it has been for 4 years, the rain is now in the rivers and they are flowing like April. Makes for lots of cracks and movement of thin ice etc. Be Safe...Locals are still waiting.
