I am working lakefront on Rosseau. We can't set up scaffold on the ice to work. The bay keeps freezing and thawing the ice situation is bad. We saw someone walk out about 1 k out and the auger went through in every spot with 2 turns.

Spoke with a friend today and he stated the bays have 4 inches. I will be checking in again in a few days for another report. Im hoping to get over to windy on Saturday

I seen deer crossing in one of the bays for the last couple days... that doesn't mean much. My buddy was out in a small bay they stayed in tight the report was 4 inches where they were. He wasn't to keen on the ice to go out far. They did get some from that bay. "the rookeri" as he calls it.
