He's always been very supportive of all fishermen. He makes an honest living and works hard at it. It's not much but I do try to go out with him once a year even though I have all the gear just to walk out myself.

That’s terrible and sad to hear he has been harassed. Everyone deserves to claim their share in the business if they play by the rules. He is a good guy

This is terrible to hear. I have ice fished with Taj a couple of times a winter, every winter for close to last 10 years or so I think....

I don’t understand how and why this is happening.
We rent from Taj all the time. We also get info from him when we don’t rent.
In this day and age he should not have to go through this.

Sickens me to see this truly.

I have been out with just about every operator on the lake and many are very good.... But Taj provides exactly what I require latey and like James have bee going out with him since 2011 and all my experiences with him have been positive

How was the fishing? We are heading out of bolster on Saturday. Going to swing in and see taj while I’m at it! He has always treated us like family every time we stay there. Great guy.

Very sad. I try to go out with him at least once a year. He is always great to deal with he knows his stuff and will help however he can.

Best ever service with Taj. Never ever have I had to wait a long time for a early pick up or return back. We usually come extra early and leave last which he and I both like. See you Saturday morning Taj can’t wait to chat.🙏🎣👍

Sounds like a ton of racially charged jealousy. Clearly Taj has and is running a business that goes above and beyond (based on everyone's comments here every year) and the other less able or lazy operators are unhappy that someone is willing to work hard to make his customers happy so has attracted and increasing number of customers that further attest to his services.
This kind of behaviour sure doesn't make me want to rent from any "locals" and only Taj, even if there are the so called good guys...clearly, can't be too good if they are not speaking up to help Taj against this kind of nonsense. Where are we in southern Texas with the Vietnamese shrimp fishermen??? We like to think that in Canada, we are somehow much better people than elsewhere but time and time again, there are an increasing number of people that prove that we are no different. We just don't have as many guns and are just a bit less trigger happy.
If I ever decide I am too old to walk out on the ice and fish myself or need a ride, etc., etc., I will force myself to seek out Taj...I have been meaning to do so before events has forced a break in my fishing. I usually don't fish that side of the lake but may start doing so...like some of the others on this board, even if once of twice a year or if I am bringing newbies onto the ice (great time to seek Taj for his services).
